Malachi, BS Bioengineering

Malachi currently holds a B.S. in Bioengineering from the University of Maryland with a focus on medical device innovation and development. During his time at the university, Malachi learned important skills related to technical innovation with an emphasis on patient-centered care. Joining Avesta in January 2025, he was inspired by their mission and hopes to work on prosthetics research in the future to create solutions that support a patient’s physical and mental well-being. Outside of work, Malachi enjoys staying active with fitness and rock climbing, channeling his creativity through cooking and baking. Committed to Avesta’s vision of evidence-based transformative care, he looks forward to making meaningful contributions to the team.
