Will Major Insurances Payers cover Ketamine Infusions?
Avesta Ketamine and Wellness works with major insurance plans
While IV ketamine infusions are not officially covered by insurance, some aspects of our treatment process, such as office visits, IV ketamine procedure, integration therapy, medication management and follow-up appointments may be eligible for coverage, depending on your state and plan. Spravato can be covered; coverage varies by state and plan.
Avesta Ketamine and Wellness is currently in-network for Cigna and billing out-of-network on our patients’ behalf for United Healthcare, UMR, Kaiser, and Aetna. Your dedicated Avesta insurance expert will work with you directly to review coverage, process claims, apply for pre-authorization, and more.
What happens if my insurance is not listed above?
Insurance payers not working with ketamine clinics is unfortunately the current norm in the United States. If you are a cash pay patient, We at Avesta have worked hard to revamp our superbills that we give to patients, with positive reports of patient reimbursement. Please also consider additional financing resources below.
Avesta also has the help of a dedicated insurance specialist who has been billing for ketamine infusions for the past five years. Monica’s sole focus is to represent you and get as much back from payers as possible on your behalf.
What is my estimated payment with insurance?
Actual out-of-pocket amount is very much dependent on your payer and benefits of your individual plan. Depending on your plan, your out-of-pocket costs could be lowered by $0 – 150 depending on your plan. Please contact us to find out more.
