Gillian's Bio

Gillian graduated from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County with a B.S. in Biology and a minor in Theatre. She completed a summer research internship at the Uniformed Services University, where she conducted public health research on mental health systems in Ukraine, examining trauma-informed care models and the psychological impact of war-related displacement.

Her passion for medicine and mental health began in high school through the Project Lead the Way Biomedical Sciences program. At UMBC, she was an active member of Phi Delta Epsilon, a medical fraternity committed to serving others, where she served as Chair of Philanthropy and Chair of Finance. In these roles, she led initiatives to support community health, organized fundraising events, and managed chapter finances, helping ensure the sustainability of the organization’s outreach programs.

Gillian is deeply committed to improving both mental and physical health, with a focus on equitable, compassionate care. She plans to pursue a career as a physician and is driven by a desire to make a meaningful impact in the lives of patients and the communities she serves. In her free time, she enjoys working on her historic car.
