Connie's Bio
Connie is a board certified psychiatric nurse practitioner who obtained her Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of San Diego. She completed a post graduate residency at the Cleveland VA and went on to manage the ketamine clinic at the San Diego VA before moving to the Hampton Roads area. She is a clinical trauma specialist through Arizona Trauma Institute.
Connie is passionate about psychedelic medicine and believes it can help individuals gain an abstract type of self knowledge into their patterns of thoughts and behaviors in addition to discovering novel and creative solutions to problems. She is a firm believer of setting intention, practicing mindfulness, and music holding remarkable power in shifting emotions and providing comfort during journeys. Being a military spouse herself and working with veterans, Connie holds particular interest in the benefits of psychedelic therapy among U.S. Special Operation Forces veterans and hopes to become more specialized on the unique needs of this population.
